HALLOWEEN CAR PARADE and Food & Glasses Collection Drive Saturday, October 31 1:00-2:30 p.m. www Sponsored by the Scandia-Marine Lions Club and the City of Scandia To enter a vehicle in the parade and/or volunteer to help with the parade, visit www.scandiamarinelions.org/volunteer Due to COVID-19, no candy or treats will be thrown from any of the vehicles. PARADE ROUTE Start at 14363 Oren Road North and line up down the road to the west (the rest of Oren Road and then down 230th). Head east on Oren Road North to Olinda Trail North. Take a right (south). Go to 220th and take a left (east). Go to Pomeroy and take a right (south). At Highway 97, take a right (west). At Parrish Road North, take a right (north) and go to Olinda Trail. Take a left (south) onto Olinda Trail and then take a right (west) onto Olinda Lane. Follow Olinda Lane around until it comes back to Olinda Trail. Take a right (south). Go on Olinda Trail until Oakhill Road North and take a left (east). Follow Oakhill Road until Oxboro Avenue North and take a right (south). Follow Oxboro to Old Marine and take a right (west). Kids - wear your costumes and wave to the cars as they pass by! PRIZES Follow Old Marine to Olinda Trail North and take a right (north). Go to 202nd and take a right (east). Follow that as it loops around until 197th. Take a left (northeast) onto 197th. Go until Oxboro Avenue North and take a left (northwest) onto Oakhill Road. Go on Oakhill Road until 209th and take a left (by the Scandia Community Center) until Olinda Trail. Take a right (north). Take a left (northwest) to tum back onto Oakhill Road. $50, $75, and $100 Best theme Most spirited Most creative Continue on Oakhill Road until the left tum into Scandia Elementary School. Drive through to the parking lot and exit onto Highway 97. All car parade participants will receive a Those watching the parade are encouraged to donate nonperishable food to the food shelf at Elim Lutheran Church, glasses for the Lions' vision program, and/or cash/check donations to support the Lions' local programs and families in need.
